Activities:
Learn about wild blueberry farming from Farmer Dell – Visiting Wescogus Farm is like going back to the “Good Old Days” when farmers took time with each customer or neighbor to converse about the adventures of farming these unique
wild blueberries. You will learn how Farmer Dell has been growing wild blueberries since 1953 and built his mechanical factory line and equipment; he will share his ideas from concept to container, and from field to fork. His sincere belief in supporting small growers with quality standards takes you back to another era.
Take in scenic views – Our farm, Wild Wescogus Berries (a Passamaquoddy name translated to “above the water”), is located in beautiful Downeast Maine, one of the last undeveloped areas on the U.S. East Coast. Our farm overlooks tidal Pleasant River, and Acadia National Park’s Cadillac Mountain serves as a pristine backdrop.
Visit our farm store – Open 9AM-5PM daily Call ahead to reserve your wild blueberries (wholesale and retail).
