Come visit Fields Fields during Wild Blueberry Weekend on August 2nd and 3rd to experience the magic of wild blueberries!

Activities:
Take a walking tour – Learn all about wild blueberries, what makes them special, and how we grow, harvest, and care for them. We’ll stop by our apiary where you can learn about bees and why they are so vital to wild blueberries. The tour will end at the winnowing machine where you can watch and participate in the processing of wild blueberries.
Winnowing demos – provided by Slow Rise farm
Take in views – You can see both the Camden Hills and the White Mountains from our hilltop farm.
Enjoy a pancake breakfast – We will be serving up wild blue pancakes from 9-11am both Saturday and Sunday. Pancakes will be gluten-free and served with local Maine maple syrup!
Visit the Magic Woods – Explore our preschool nature play area, enjoy the story
“Blueberries for Sal” and work on blueberry arts and crafts! There will be kids’ face painting and a tintype photography station, so you can bring home a unique old time photo of you and your loved ones.
Live music – Starting each day at 9AM!

For sale:
We are partnering with Slow Rise farm, another family-run organic blueberry farm who will be selling fresh organic wild blueberries & their Slow fruit snacks!
Our wild blueberry crisp cart will be serving wild blueberry crisp (gluten-free and vegan options available) along with other wild blueberry products (including our famous blueberry chips!)
There will be dozens of local vendors selling their creations & food trucks offering delicious local lunch options.

Note: Bathrooms available on-site. Dogs allowed but must be on leash.

Fields Fields Blueberries is a 2nd generation family run organic wild blueberry farm in
Dresden, Maine. We farm while keeping the berries and their surroundings in their most
natural state. Our farm has been certified organic for 24 years! We’re passionate about
sharing the powers of wild blueberries & it’s our goal to educate our community about this
indigenous plant that only grows in a small section of North America.
